It is hard to believe our trip to Sweden is over and we are back in the USA. In an effort to live in the past, I will post some more highlights of our trip in the next couple weeks.
But this time I will work my way backwards, starting with out last stop in Sweden – Stockholm. We spent a couple days visiting my husband’s younger sister. It was so much fun to spend time with her and to see parts of Stockholm I have not seen before.
I think the most exciting part of this trip for the girls was the overnight train trip. They did a train dance to celebrate!
Isn’t the train excitement contagious?
Some highlights from Stockholm were:
Going to a museum called Skansen
Getting to see one of our favorite tv shows from the summer, live.
enjoying the view…
walking around in the “Old Town”
exploring the smallest street in Stockholm…
exploring “Soder” with our very knowledgeable guide
Isn’t this the best house ever with its own bridge?
or a house someday for my honey and me!
We enjoyed this evening walking…
and our “fika” with a view.
Tack faster J. for en underbar Stockholmstid!
